The UBC Medical Journal is now recruiting for general staff positions and staff writers. Detailed descriptions for all positions (including staff writers) are available here.
The deadline for applications is Saturday September 17th at 11:59pm. Interviews will be held on September 20th.
We are hosting a UBCMJ information session, with a presentation on the available staff positions, on Thursday September 1st at 6:30pm at the Medical Student Alumni Centre (MSAC).
General Staff Positions:
Most positions are open to students in any academic program; students from health related disciplines outside of medicine are encouraged to apply. Jr Co-Editor in Chief, Jr Managing Editor and Jr Communications Manager positions are restricted to first year medical students, as these positions require frequent communication with other staff, many of whom are in medicine. As all positions except for staff writers are two year commitments, medical students who apply must be in their first year. There will be a interview session on September 20th for applicants.

Staff Writers:
Second and third year medical students, or students available for only a one year commitment, are encouraged to apply for a staff writer position. Staff writer applicants will not need to attend interviews.
