The UBC Medical Journal is a journal that is driven and written by students, for the world. Most positions are open to students in any academic program. Students from health related disciplines outside of medicine are encouraged to apply.
Please come out to our information night on September 3rd, 2019 at 6:00PM at the Medical Student Alumni Centre (Hardwick Hall).

- Interviews will tentatively begin on: Tuesday, September 17th at 5:30pm
Jr Co-Editor in Chief, Jr Managing Editor, Jr Publications Manager and Jr Communications Manager positions are restricted to first year medical students, as these positions require frequent communication with other staff, many of whom are in medicine. As all positions except for staff writers are two year commitments, medical students who apply must be in their first year.
2nd and 3rd year medical students, or students available for only a one year commitment, are encouraged to apply for a staff writer position. More details about applying to be a staff writer are available HERE. The deadline for staff writer applications is also Sunday, September 15th, 2019 at 11:59pm. Staff writer applicants will not need to attend interviews.
